To make a holiday gift certificate video for a massage studio, send five stills (room, towels, oils, entrance, a wrapped certificate) into Timeline 1.0 as four-second slots on a silent spine, add a music bed from the Music Router, then burn the offer as caption cues. At the listed rates that is $0.10 for the 20-second render, $0.125 for the track and $0.20 for the cues: $0.425. No camera work is required, and the copy stays about the gift, not health results.

Can a timeline be built from photos only?

Yes. A video slot can be a still, which the docs call a static hold. The job accepts a motion setting on a still but ignores it and reports motion_ignored, so do not plan on zooms. Each slot has a declared start, a duration of at least 0.2 seconds and an optional transition after the first slot (fade, dissolve, wipeleft, wiperight, slideup or slidedown, up to 1 second). The default fit is cover, so a landscape photo fills a vertical frame by cropping its sides.

Why use silence mode with a bed?

Without a voice-over there is no spine file. Setting audio mode to silence declares the length and takes the music from the soundtrack field instead, with an optional loop and a fade-out of up to 10 seconds. The Music Router takes a prompt of 1 to 5000 characters and takes length from the prompt, so ask for a calm 30-second instrumental and loop it if needed. Lyria is the engine today per the docs.

What should the cues say?

Cues are text with a start and end, so no transcription is involved. A short set works: Gift certificates, Book a time, the price, and where to buy. Put terms such as expiry in the post text instead of the video. Keep the cues descriptive of the service and leave out outcome claims, since a gift video is shared widely and a small studio is the one who stands behind each line.

How do you check the cost before rendering?

Call the plan route with the same body. It validates the schema, the Sume-host URLs and the compiler, and returns duration_seconds, segment_count, billable_minutes and an estimated cost, without creating a job or reserving credits. A plan cannot predict padding or looping warnings for short sources, so use clips that already cover their slot.
