Seedance 2.5 at 1080p costs 2.46 times as much as at 720p for the same length, because it carries both more pixels (2.25x) and a higher per-token rate. Ten seconds is $4.6224 at 720p and $11.3724 at 1080p on the fal list, and $5.778 versus $14.2155 on Sume, which bills list times 1.25.

fal's Seedance 2.5 page quotes $0.0214 per 1,000 tokens at 480p and 720p. Sume's pricing code records $0.0234 per 1,000 tokens at 1080p from fal's list; that 1080p figure is the one used here and was not on the page extract read today, so confirm it on the page before relying on it.

Where 2.46 comes from

Tokens are height x width x seconds x 24 / 1024. At 1080p, 10 seconds is 1920 x 1080 x 10 x 24 / 1024 = 486,000 tokens against 216,000 at 720p, a ratio of 2.25. The rate ratio is 0.0234 / 0.0214 = 1.0935, so the cost ratio is 2.25 x 1.0935 = 2.46.

What it means for a budget

Ten 10 second clips cost $57.78 at 720p on Sume and $142.16 at 1080p (10 x $14.2155 = $142.155, rounded up per job). If the delivery channel is a phone feed, 720p is usually enough; reserve 1080p for hero shots.

The Video Router docs list 480p, 720p and 1080p for seedance-2.5 and allow 4 to 30 seconds, so you can pick the resolution per request rather than per account.
