A 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p and 16:9 costs about $2.89 on Sume. A 10-second clip is about $5.78, 15 seconds is about $8.67, and the 30-second maximum is about $17.33. The price scales linearly with seconds: fal lists Seedance 2.5 at $0.0214 per 1,000 video tokens, and Sume bills that list price times 1.25. Figures below were read on 2026-10-03.

How is a Seedance 2.5 price built?

fal's page gives the token formula: (output height x output width x seconds x 24) / 1024, charged at "$0.0214 per 1000 tokens" for 480p and 720p. At 1280x720 that is 21,600 tokens per second, so 5 seconds is 108,000 tokens and $2.3112 at list.

Sume's video docs say it bills provider list x 1.25 on every video model. The Sume column below is the fal list column times 1.25.

Seedance 2.5, 720p, 16:9, no reference video; fal list from the token formula, Sume at list x 1.25 (read 2026-10-03)
Clip lengthVideo tokensfal listSume (x 1.25)
5 s108,000$2.3112$2.889
10 s216,000$4.6224$5.778
15 s324,000$6.9336$8.667
30 s648,000$13.8672$17.334

Why fal's per-second figure differs a little

fal's page also prints a rough per-second number for 720p, about $0.4730. The token formula gives $0.4622 per second at 1280x720 (21,600 tokens x $0.0214 / 1,000). Sume's rate card prices from the token formula, so budget with the table above and treat the page's per-second figure as an approximation.

What moves the number

Seedance 2.5 accepts 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p on Sume. Resolution is the big lever, covered in 1080p vs 720p vs 480p. A reference video changes the reserve too: see the reference-video reserve. Aspect ratio barely matters at the same resolution tier (9:16 vs 16:9).

  • A request below 4 seconds is rejected; the minimum is 4.
  • Price is per output second of video, not per attempt, so a retake costs the same again.
