On Sume, a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 16:9 costs about $1.34 at 480p, $2.89 at 720p and $7.11 at 1080p, so 1080p is roughly 2.5 times the 720p price and 720p is about 2.2 times 480p. Two things stack: more pixels means more video tokens, and the 1080p token rate is higher ($0.0234 per 1,000 tokens against $0.0214 at 480p and 720p). Sume bills list x 1.25.

The price ladder

Tokens are (width x height x seconds x 24) / 1024. At 16:9 the sizes are 864x496 (480p), 1280x720 (720p) and 1920x1080 (1080p). fal's page states the $0.0214 rate for 480p and 720p and roughly $1.164 per second for 1080p; Sume's rate card uses $0.0234 per 1,000 tokens for 1080p.

Sume's video docs say it bills provider list x 1.25 on every video model.

When 1080p is worth it

If the clip goes to a phone feed, 720p usually carries the review stage and 1080p belongs on the winner only. A draft ladder follows from the table: ten 480p drafts of 5 seconds cost about $13.43, less than two 1080p finals at $14.22 for 10 seconds. Compare it with the 720p price table before choosing.
