Veo 3.1 4K at $0.30 or $0.60 a second vs Omni Flash 4K on Sume
Google lists Veo 3.1 4K at $0.30 per second on Fast and $0.60 on Standard. Sume bills Gemini Omni Flash 4K at $0.375 per second. A 10-second price check.

Google's Gemini API pricing page (read 2026-10-03) lists Veo 3.1 at 4K for $0.60 per second on Standard and $0.30 on Fast. A 10-second 4K clip is $6.00 or $3.00 on those tiers.
If you need 4K from Sume, the model to look at is Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. The Video API docs lists it at 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, for 3 to 10 seconds.
Sume's Omni Flash rates
Sume bills provider list times 1.25 per output second by resolution. The provider list in Sume's rate tables is $0.03, $0.10, $0.15 and $0.30 per second at 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, so Sume charges $0.0375, $0.125, $0.1875 and $0.375. Native audio is always on for this model, so there is no silent discount.
| Resolution | Veo 3.1 Fast (Google) | Veo 3.1 Standard (Google) | Omni Flash 1.1 (Sume) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 720p | $0.10 | $0.40 | $0.125 |
| 1080p | $0.12 | $0.40 | $0.1875 |
| 4K | $0.30 | $0.60 | $0.375 |
The 4K clip, priced
A 10-second 4K clip on Sume is $3.75, against $3.00 for Veo 3.1 Fast and $6.00 for Veo 3.1 Standard. So Sume sits 25 percent above Veo Fast at 4K and 37.5 percent below Veo Standard. At 1080p, 10 seconds is $1.875 on Sume and $1.20 on Veo Fast.
Those are different models, so the price difference is not the whole story. Omni Flash is capped at 10 seconds per clip and always carries audio; check that both fit your delivery before you compare dollars.
Compute your own number
The snippet prices a 4K clip of any length from 3 to 10 seconds at the Sume rate above.
per_second_4k = 0.375 # Gemini Omni Flash 4K on Sume, list x 1.25
for seconds in (3, 5, 8, 10):
print(f'{seconds} s at 4K: ${per_second_4k * seconds:.2f}')
Where each fits
For a single 4K hero shot you will regenerate rarely, Veo 3.1 Fast at $3.00 per 10 seconds is the cheapest on this page. For a workflow that already runs through Sume (assembling, captioning, speech), the extra $0.75 per 10-second 4K clip pays for staying in one wallet. Do not assume 4K is worth its price: a 1080p clip is half or less of the 4K cost on both sides.
