Veo 3.1 Standard, Fast and Lite: cost of 30 seconds of video
Google lists Veo 3.1 at per-second rates. Multiply them out for 30 seconds of 720p video and compare with Omni Flash's roughly $0.10 per second.

Thirty seconds of 720p Veo 3.1 costs $12.00 on Standard, $3.00 on Fast and $1.50 on Lite at Google's listed per-second rates. Those rates are $0.40, $0.10 and $0.05 per second (read 2026-10-03). Veo clips are 4, 6 or 8 seconds each, so 30 seconds is several requests, and the arithmetic below assumes every second is kept.
The math
Google's pricing page also lists Standard at $0.40 per second at 1080p and $0.60 at 4K, and Lite at $0.08 per second at 1080p. It lists Omni Flash by video tokens, at about $0.10 per second at 720p.
| Tier | Per second (720p) | 30 seconds |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.40 | $12.00 |
| Fast | $0.10 | $3.00 |
| Lite | $0.05 | $1.50 |
What the numbers leave out
A per-second rate does not count discarded takes. If you keep one of every three generations, the cost of what you ship is three times the table. Sume bills by the model and resolution you pick; read the price for a specific model from your workspace before comparing.
