At the list prices in Sume's catalog (dated 2026-08-24 and subject to change), Wan 3.0 is $0.05 per second at 480p, $0.10 at 720p and $0.20 at 1080p. A 10-second clip is $0.50, $1.00 or $2.00 at list. Sume's docs state it bills provider list times 1.25, which makes those $0.625, $1.25 and $2.50.

Clip cost table

The arithmetic is seconds times the per-second rate. The right column applies the documented 1.25 multiplier; the live figure is the pricing block of GET /v1/video-router/models and the reserve shown on submit.

Using the ladder

Because 1080p is four times 480p per second, draft long clips at 480p. A 30-second 1080p miss costs $7.50 under the documented multiplier; the same miss at 480p costs $1.875.

The 2-second floor makes Wan the model for inexpensive inserts: a 2-second 480p clip is $0.10 at list.

Caveats

Quote a batch before you run it, then use the Idempotency-Key header so a retry does not create a second job.

  • List prices are the vendor's and can change; the catalog line says so.
  • Sume reserves the cost on submit; check the receipt of a failed or canceled job for what was kept.
  • The catalog lists no per-image reference fee for Wan.
