TikTok Shop's seller guide puts its Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign at November 11 to November 30 Pacific Time, asks sellers to list products about two weeks before launch, and says applications take 5 to 14 business days. That makes mid-October the real deadline for product video. Sume can make the clips from your packshot, and this post lists the checks to run on them against TikTok's own seller pages.

The seller guide in numbers

The thresholds below are as TikTok Shop's seller guide states them. Read the page yourself, because the program may have changed since.

Clip checklist

TikTok Shop's video quality page requires at least three seconds of dynamic content and says stills, slideshows, product-page screenshots and loops are not acceptable video content. Its AI content policy, effective September 2, 2026 in the U.S., requires disclosure of AI-generated content and prohibits animating a static product so it misrepresents the specifications.

So a clip that animates your packshot is allowed only if what it shows is true to the real product, and it needs the disclosure. Check each clip against that.

  • Real motion for at least 3 seconds, not a held still.
  • Disclosure via on-screen text or the AI-generated toggle, per the policy.
  • Product shape, size and label match the real item.
  • Length cuts made with video trim at $0.02 per job.

Limits

Sume does not file the application, upload to TikTok Shop, or judge whether a clip passes TikTok's review. The seller pages are the authority, and the late-dispatch and score thresholds are about your operations, not your video.
