TikTok Creative Library in Ads Manager: Four Modules and Formats
TikTok's Creative Library (July 2026) has Overview, Creative Readiness, Creative Assets and Interactive Elements. See what to upload from Sume.

What is in the Creative Library?
TikTok's help article (updated July 2026) says the Creative Library has four modules: Overview, Creative Readiness, Creative Assets and Interactive Elements. Formats include video, single image, carousel and playable, plus Spark ad posts and interactive add-ons. You can pre-generate AI creatives, and group assets by source: user-added, creator content or auto-generated. It supports Auction and Reservation buying types, across all placements and objectives. I read the page on 2026-10-03.
| Item | What TikTok says |
|---|---|
| Modules | Overview, Creative Readiness, Creative Assets, Interactive Elements |
| Formats | Video, image (single), carousel, playable |
| Also | Spark ad posts, interactive add-ons |
| Source groups | User-added, creator content, auto-generated |
| Buying types | Auction, Reservation |
What does this change for a team?
The Library is a shared shelf. Instead of uploading a file into each campaign, you upload once and reuse. That makes naming matter: if three people upload similar clips with default names, nobody can find the right one.
What should I upload from Sume?
Vertical clips from video trim ($0.02 per job), stills from POST /v1/images, and a version per aspect ratio you plan to run. Add a naming convention such as product, ratio and version. Mark which assets are AI-generated in the name so the source group on TikTok's side is not the only label.
Check TikTok's current ad specs for each format before upload, since the Library page does not list file limits.
- One naming pattern for all uploads.
- Separate files per ratio.
- Keep the original brief next to the asset.
What is not covered?
The page does not give file sizes or lengths, so I do not state any. Use the format-specific spec pages.
