Launch discounts: FLUX 3 ended Oct 8, Vidu Q4 runs to Nov 30
Two new-model promos, two dates. FLUX 3 Image's 50% launch price ended Oct 8; Vidu Q4's 30% image-to-video discount runs to Nov 30. Rates read Oct 9, 2026.

Of the two big launches this week, only Vidu Q4's discount is certain to still apply. fal's FLUX 3 Image page, read 2026-10-09, shows a 50% launch price of $0.024 at 1K and says it ends October 8, with $0.048 after. fal's Vidu Q4 image-to-video page shows 30% off until November 30.
What do the two pages say?
| Model | Promo rate | Regular rate | Promo ends |
|---|---|---|---|
| FLUX 3 Image, 1K | $0.024 per image | $0.048 per image | October 8 |
| Vidu Q4 i2v, 540p | $0.0315 per second | $0.045 per second | November 30 |
| Vidu Q4 i2v, 4K | $0.273 per second | $0.39 per second | November 30 |
Why does the FLUX page still show the promo price?
The page text still lists the launch price on the day after the stated end date. That is a page-copy lag, not proof of what a request is billed. Check the amount on your own invoice or response before you plan a batch on $0.024.
What does the step cost on a batch?
- 1,000 FLUX 3 images at 1K: $24 at the launch rate, $48 at the regular rate.
- 100 Vidu Q4 clips of 10 s at 540p: $31.50 now, $45 after November 30.
- 100 Vidu Q4 clips of 10 s at 4K: $273 now, $390 after.
What does a Sume wallet change?
Neither model is in Sume's catalog code as of 2026-10-09, so there is no Sume rate for them. Sume's rows have no promo clock: the listed models bill provider list x 1.25 (see the Video Router docs and Images docs), for example FLUX.2 Pro at $0.0375 per image and Wan 3.0 at $0.0625 per second at 480p. Plan the comparison on a fixed test set before the promo ends, and re-run it after.
What should I do before a batch on either model?
Run a handful of requests and read the charge on your own account before multiplying. For FLUX 3 that means a 10-image test: $0.24 at the launch rate or $0.48 at the regular rate for 1K, a 2x spread that only the test will settle.
For Vidu Q4 the date is clear but the step is large: every tier rises 42.9% on December 1, so a batch you plan for early December should be budgeted at the regular rates today.
- Write the rate and the date you read it next to every budget line.
- Treat a launch price as a limited offer, not a baseline.
- Keep the regular rate as the planning number and the promo as a bonus.
