40 hero images from five premium Sume rows: $7.50 to $15.00
40 hero images cost $7.50 on Nano Banana Pro 1K, $8.00 on 2.1 at 4K, $8.90 on GPT Image 2.5 high 4K, $11.00 on Ideogram 4.5 high and $15.00 on Pro 4K.

Forty hero images on Sume cost $7.50 with Nano Banana Pro at 1K (40 x $0.1875), $8.00 with Nano Banana 2.1 at 4K (40 x $0.20), $8.90 with GPT Image 2.5 at high 4K (40 x $0.2225), $11.00 with Ideogram 4.5 at high (40 x $0.275) and $15.00 with Nano Banana Pro at 4K (40 x $0.375). The spread between the cheapest and dearest is exactly 2x.
These are the premium end of the Sume image list. Cheaper rows exist, and they are covered elsewhere; this post is for the case where you have already decided to pay for the best.
The five rows
Prices are Sume list prices per image, which are the provider list times 1.25, rounded up to the cent when billed.
| Row | Per image | Arithmetic | Total for 40 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nano Banana Pro, 1K | $0.1875 | 40 x $0.1875 | $7.50 |
| Nano Banana 2.1, 4K | $0.2000 | 40 x $0.2000 | $8.00 |
| GPT Image 2.5, high 4K | $0.2225 | 40 x $0.2225 | $8.90 |
| Ideogram 4.5, high | $0.2750 | 40 x $0.2750 | $11.00 |
| Nano Banana Pro, 4K | $0.3750 | 40 x $0.3750 | $15.00 |
What the sizes mean
The rows are not equal in pixels. Pro at 1K is the cheapest premium row, but it is a 1K image. Nano Banana 2.1 at 4K is $0.20 and is the lowest price in the table at the top resolution, and Pro at 4K costs 1.875 times as much. GPT Image 2.5 at high 4K sits between them at $0.2225.
Ideogram 4.5 high is priced per image by quality for all sizes, so it is the one row where you do not pay more for a bigger canvas. It also has a quality dial, with low at $0.0375 and medium at $0.075, so drafts can be cheap.
A sensible split
If you only need 8 of the 40 at premium quality, draft 40 on a cheap row first. At $0.025 per image (Grok Image), 40 drafts are $1.00, and 8 finals on Nano Banana 2.1 at 4K are $1.60, for $2.60 in total. That is about a third of the $8.00 single-pass price.
Per image and per pixel
Nano Banana Pro at 1K costs $0.1875 and at 4K $0.375, so the extra pixels cost 18.75 cents. Nano Banana 2.1 goes from $0.10 at 1K to $0.20 at 4K, so its extra pixels cost 10 cents. If you need a 4K image, the 2.1 row at $0.20 is $0.175 cheaper than Pro ($0.375) and $0.0225 cheaper than GPT Image 2.5 high at $0.2225.
Pick on look rather than on price once you are inside this range. The whole spread for 40 images is $7.50.
Whichever row you choose, set the quality and size explicitly in the request. GPT Image 2.5 defaults to high when quality is omitted, and its auto quality reserves the max tier, so a call you thought was a cheap draft can hold far more balance than the $0.2225 shown here.
