Four-week video budget: Omni hooks, H3 b-roll, two Recast swaps
A four-week plan with 3 Omni hooks and 2 H3 b-roll clips a week plus two 15-second Recast swaps totals $29.25 on Sume. Every line is priced.

A four-week plan with three 8-second Omni hooks and two 10-second H3 b-roll clips each week, plus two 15-second Recast swaps in the month, totals $29.25 on Sume. The weekly run is $4.50, the four weeks are $18.00, and the two swaps add $11.25.
Every figure is the Sume price tool (read 2026-10-09) times a count. Change the counts and the arithmetic stays the same.
The plan as a table
Recast bills per second of source video, at $0.375 per second at 768p, so the 15-second swap is $5.625. It is the largest line for the fewest clips, which is why it is worth deciding early whether a swap or a fresh take is the right tool.
| Line | Model and setting | Clips | Per clip | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hooks, 8 s | Omni Flash 1.1, 720p | 12 | $1.00 | $12.00 |
| B-roll, 10 s | MiniMax H3, 768p | 8 | $0.75 | $6.00 |
| Talent swap, 15 s source | H3 Max Recast, 768p | 2 | $5.625 | $11.25 |
| Month | 22 | $29.25 |
Where the plan flexes
Plans change faster than prices do, so keep the counts in a file and the rates out of it.
- Move hooks to 1080p: each 8 s hook goes from $1.00 to $1.50, so twelve hooks add $6.00.
- Move b-roll to H3 Max 768p: each clip goes from $0.75 to $1.00, so eight add $2.00.
- Drop a swap: Recast does not discount short sources, because each source second is billed.
Read the rates, do not paste them
GET /v1/videos/models returns pricing_skus for each model with per-second keys such as per-video-second-768p. Use that response as the rate card in your planning script, then multiply by your counts. The Recast row prices source seconds, so use the length of the source clip you inspected.

-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY"Where the month goes
Of the $29.25 month, the two swaps are 38%, the twelve hooks 41% and the eight b-roll clips 21%. Two clips drive over a third of the spend, which is the line to watch.
Limits and gotchas
- Omni hooks must be 3-10 seconds; H3 b-roll 5-15 seconds; a Recast source 5-30 seconds with no single shot over 15 seconds.
- The reserve is taken at submit. A month of jobs does not hold money at once, but each job does.
- Do not add an unlisted model to this table without running the price tool for it.
