12 spokesperson avatars and one 20-second clip each: $55.56 on Sume
On Sume, 12 new avatars at $0.95 each plus one 20-second Standard clip apiece (no product, $0.184 per second) is $55.56 in total.
Creating an avatar is $0.95, and a Standard clip without a product is $0.184 per second. For 12 avatars with a 20-second clip each: $11.40 for creation plus $44.16 for video, $55.56 in all.
Creation versus clips
The creation fee is paid once per avatar. If you reuse an avatar, later clips cost only the per-second price.
| Item | Quantity | Unit price | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Avatar creation | 12 | $0.95 | $11.40 |
| Standard clip, 20 s | 12 | $3.68 | $44.16 |
| Total | $55.56 |
What reuse does
One 20-second Standard clip is 20 x 0.184 = $3.68, so creation is 0.95 / 3.68 = 26% of a single clip. Reusing 12 avatars for three more clips each adds 36 x 3.68 = $132.48, with no new creation fees.
Worked example and checks
The table above is a floor, not a forecast. Real campaigns re-record. If every avatar needs two clips instead of one, the video line doubles to $88.32 and the total becomes $99.72, while the creation line stays at $11.40. That is why the cheap fee deserves less attention than the per-second rate.
Tier changes the picture. The same 12 clips at Plus cost 12 x 20 x 0.245 = $58.80, and at Max $132.00. Creation stays $11.40 in all three cases because the creation fee is a flat price, not a tier price on the public rate card.
Limits
For how creation works, see the Avatar docs. The rate card gives prices only; it does not promise likeness or quality, so preview before you commit to a batch. Sume bills model and tool usage at the published rate on top of the plan fee, so the plan price is separate from every number in this post.
