AI avatar cost: $0.95 once to create, then per second of video
Sume charges $0.95 to create an avatar, then $0.184 to $0.58 per second of avatar video by tier. A 30-second clip costs $5.52 to $17.40 plus the one-time $0.95.
Sume bills an avatar in two steps: creating a reusable avatar is $0.95 per avatar, and each avatar video is billed per second by quality tier, from $0.184 per second (Standard, no product) to $0.58 per second (Max, with a product). A 30-second Standard video with a new avatar is $0.95 + $5.52 = $6.47, before the 5.5% agent fee that applies by default.
Prices are from Sume's rate card, which the docs link to; the creation and video endpoints are in the avatar docs and avatar video docs.
What does it cost to create an avatar?
$0.95 per avatar, once. You can then reuse the avatar in as many videos as you like: the creation fee is not repeated. Creation takes a prompt, a profile of traits, or a reference image.
What does an avatar video cost per second?
Three quality tiers, each with a price with and without a product in the frame. The figures below are the rate-card rows.
| Tier | Per second, no product | Per second, with product | 30 s, no product |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.184 per second | $0.194 per second | $5.52 |
| Plus | $0.245 per second | $0.258 per second | $7.35 |
| Max | $0.55 per second | $0.58 per second | $16.50 |
What do ten videos cost with one new avatar?
The creation fee is paid once, so the second video onward costs only the per-second rate. Ten 30-second Standard videos with one new avatar are $0.95 + 10 x $5.52 = $56.15. Ten with ten different new avatars are $9.50 + $55.20 = $64.70.
