The cheapest 5-second clip on Sume is grok-imagine-video-1.5 at $0.07, but it only animates a start image and makes no sound. For text-to-video, the cheapest is gemini-omni-flash-1.1 at 360p ($0.19), then wan-3.0 at 480p ($0.32).

Amounts are the reserved price at list x 1.25, rounded up to the cent, from Sume's pricing code, read 2026-10-01. Each row uses that model's lowest resolution. Prices are subject to change.

How do the models rank?

Lowest listed resolution, 5 seconds, 16:9 where a ratio applies. One Higgsfield video-to-video model is left out because it needs a source video.

5-second clip at each model's lowest resolution, reserved amount, read 2026-10-01.

Is the lowest price the right pick?

Only if the clip suits the use. Low resolution is fine for a draft or a storyboard, not for a final export. A failed job releases its reservation, so a bad draft costs nothing. Resolutions, durations and inputs per model are in the video docs.

How do I price a clip before I submit it?

Read pricing_skus from the model list, then multiply by your seconds.
