Creatify's billing page lists Ad Clone at 12 credits per 5 seconds, billed in 5-second increments. A 30 second ad clone is therefore six increments, or 72 credits, by that rate. On Sume, an Avatar Video job is chosen with a quality tier rather than a per-5-second unit.

Creatify facts are from its billing and Ad Clone pages, read 2026-10-01. Sume facts are from Avatar videos.

How does Creatify Ad Clone work and bill?

The Ad Clone page describes recreating an ad by combining product assets, taken from a product URL through the Links API, with a reference ad video; Creatify analyzes the reference's structure, pacing and style. Creating a link costs 1 credit per link on the same billing page, listed separately from the clone.

How does Sume charge for an avatar video?

Avatar Video accepts quality of standard, plus or max. plus is the default, standard is the fastest execution path and max is the highest tier with slower turnaround. The docs state the tier as behavior, not as a per-5-second rate. Inline captions do not create a separate billed video-caption job.

Can I check a result before paying for the full render?

Yes. Avatar video previews generate the first-frame still without starting the full talking-video render, so you can approve composition first; see Avatar video previews and first-frame previews.

What happens if I run out of credits?

The API returns 402 insufficient_credits when the balance is not sufficient for the requested generation. See Errors and credits.
