The three lines

Avatar creation is a flat $0.95 per avatar. Talking video is billed per second by tier: standard $0.184, plus $0.245 and max $0.55, and a product image adds a few cents per second. Twenty seconds on standard is 20 x $0.184 = $3.68.

Reusing the avatar

The $0.95 is paid once per avatar, not per video. Ten more greetings next month add only the per-second cost. That is the reason to create the avatar early and keep it.

Ten greetings of 20 seconds on standard cost 10 x $3.68 = $36.80, and the avatar was already paid.

When to pick another tier

Standard is the low-cost tier. Plus and max cost 1.3 and 3 times as much per second. Look at a short sample on each before you decide, since the price steps are larger than the likely visual gap for a simple greeting.

If you add a product image for a seasonal offer, use the product rate. On standard that is $0.194 per second.
