100 rendered 45-second videos: Sume timeline fees are up to $7.50

Sume Timeline renders are $0.10 per output minute, so 100 videos of 45 seconds is 75 output minutes and up to $7.50. Footage and voice cost extra.

100 output videos of 45 seconds is 4,500 seconds, or 75 minutes. At Sume's $0.10 per output minute, the Timeline render fee is up to $7.50. The rate is per minute of finished video, not per input clip.

What the fee buys

The Timeline docs describe it as assembly: one audio spine plus ordered video slots into one MP4, with an unbilled plan preflight route. Use the preflight to catch input errors before you pay for a render.

Fee by video length

The table scales render fees by length at a batch of 100.

Sume rate card, read 2026-10-07
LengthOutput minutes for 100Fee
15 s25$2.50
30 s50$5.00
45 s75$7.50
60 s100$10.00
90 s150$15.00

Worked example and checks

To estimate a whole video, add lines. For a 45-second video built from three 15-second clips, a voice track and one caption pass, the render fee is $0.075 and the caption pass $0.20, so finishing alone is about $0.275 before the clips and voice. At 100 videos that is $27.50, of which the render is less than a third.

The preflight route is worth using in a batch. A bad input on render 87 of 100 is cheaper to find on an unbilled plan call than on a billed render, and the docs say the plan compile is unbilled.

Not the whole bill

The figure is 'up to' because Timeline reserves a ceiling at submit and captures actual cost afterwards. It is not the whole bill: the clips, voice, music and captions in each video are separate. A 45-second video with one $0.20 caption pass adds $20.00 per 100, nearly three times the render fee.

Sume bills model and tool usage at the published rate on top of the plan fee, so the plan price is separate from every number in this post.
