Wan 3.0 on Runway: 5 to 20 credits a second vs Sume's $0.0625 to $0.25

Runway lists wan3 at 5 to 20 credits a second from 480p to 1080p, or $0.05 to $0.20, the same as Alibaba's list. Sume bills $0.0625 to $0.25.

Runway's pricing page lists wan3 at 5 to 20 credits a second across 480p to 1080p, which at $0.01 a credit is $0.05 to $0.20. That matches Alibaba's Singapore list of $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20. On Sume, wan-3.0 bills $0.0625, $0.125 and $0.25 for the same three resolutions, the list times 1.25.

What differs beyond price

Runway also lists wan3_prime at 6.8 to 28 credits a second. Alibaba lists wan3.0-video-prime as a separate id. Sume lists wan-3.0 only; I found no prime id in the video catalog. Sume's wan-3.0 takes 2 to 30 seconds with audio, first and last frames, and image, video and audio references.

Choosing

If you already hold Runway credits, wan3 there is the cheapest of the three. If you want Wan next to Seedance, Kling and Omni on one API and one bill, the 25% multiple on Sume buys that. Do the sums on your own clip length: a 30-second 1080p clip is $6.00 on Alibaba and $7.50 on Sume.

A 10-second compare

At 1080p a 10-second clip is $2.00 on Runway's wan3 and Alibaba, and $2.50 on Sume. At 480p it is $0.50 and $0.625. The gap is $0.50 at 1080p, which is the price of one extra 2-second clip, so for small volumes the convenience of one vendor often outweighs it. At thousands of clips, it does not.
