Sume's yearly prices are $432 for Pro, $1,260 for Startup and $4,080 for Scale. Divided by twelve and by each plan's concurrent job limit (4, 8 and 20), that is $9.00, $13.13 and $17.00 per slot per month.

The arithmetic

Monthly billing is $40, $120 and $400, so yearly saves $48, $180 and $720 over twelve months.

What a slot is

A slot is one job running at once, not a monthly quota. Jobs above the limit wait in a queue rather than fail. Usage is billed separately at each model's rate, so the plan fee buys concurrency and access, not credits.

Worked example and checks

Break-even on the yearly commitment is simple: the yearly price equals 10.8 months of Pro, 10.5 months of Startup and 10.2 months of Scale at the monthly price. If you will use a plan for fewer months than that, monthly is cheaper. The savings are 10%, 12.5% and 15% respectively.

Per-slot arithmetic assumes you fill every slot. If you run two jobs at a time on Pro, you still pay for four. Measure your average concurrency for a week before choosing; a plan whose slots sit idle costs more per used slot than the table shows.

How to choose

Per-slot price rises as you move up: Scale's slot costs 1.9 times Pro's. Choose Scale for throughput, not for savings. Yearly pricing is a commitment; Sume does not say here that it is refundable, so read the checkout terms. Sume bills model and tool usage at the published rate on top of the plan fee, so the plan price is separate from every number in this post.
