Veo 3.1 tiers vs Seedance 2.5: price per second of video

Google lists Veo 3.1 at $0.40 (Standard), $0.10-$0.12 (Fast) and $0.05-$0.08 (Lite) per second; Seedance 2.5 on fal is about $0.46 at 720p. Sume x 1.25: $0.58.

Google lists Veo 3.1 at $0.40 per second for Standard (720p and 1080p), $0.10 to $0.12 for Fast and $0.05 to $0.08 for Lite, so Standard is about the same as Seedance 2.5 at fal list (about $0.46 per second at 720p) and Fast and Lite are far cheaper. Seedance 2.5 on Sume is $0.578 per second at 720p after the x 1.25 margin. Both vendor pages were read on 2026-10-03.

The per-second table

Google's pricing page lists Veo 3.1 Standard at $0.60 for 4K, Fast at $0.30 for 4K and says all tiers include audio by default. For Seedance 2.5, fal bills by video token and its page also quotes rough per-second figures (about $0.2205 at 480p, $0.4730 at 720p, $1.164 at 1080p); the table below uses the token formula for 1280x720 and 1920x1080 at the rates in Sume's rate card.

What the comparison leaves out

Seedance 2.5 reaches 30 seconds in one clip; Sume's catalog does not list a Veo id, so on Sume the realistic comparison is among its own rows (Seedance family, Wan). For a minute of finished video across vendors see Veo 3.1 vs the Sume catalog per minute. Resolution tiers matter more than the headline: 1080p Seedance is about 2.5 times its 720p price (ladder).
