At $0.009 per video second, 15 minutes is 900 x 0.009 = $8.10. One hour is $32.40, and one minute is $0.54.

Cost by length

For comparison, an image upscale is $0.20, which is the price of 0.20 / 0.009 = 22.2 seconds of video upscale.

Per-job limits

The rate card does not state a per-job length limit. Our post on the 30-second duration field covers one limit on upscale jobs, so verify the limit for your route before you plan a full hour. If jobs are capped, the total is the same; only the number of jobs changes.

Worked example and checks

Source quality dominates cost-effectiveness. A clean 720p source at $0.009 per second produces a larger file at the same bill as a noisy one. If the source is poor, upscaling will spend money to enlarge the noise, so check a 5-second sample first for $0.045.

Compare it with regenerating. If a 10-second clip came from a model that offers a higher resolution at a higher per-second price, price both routes: the upscale adds 10 x $0.009 = $0.09 to the original generation.

What upscale does not do

Upscale does not add detail that was never captured. It also does not change frame rate or audio. Sume bills model and tool usage at the published rate on top of the plan fee, so the plan price is separate from every number in this post.
