Topview yearly plans from $216 vs the same money on Sume avatar video
Topview lists Basic at $216 a year and Team at $672 per seat. At Sume Plus rates $216 buys 881 seconds of avatar video, about 14.7 minutes.
The short answer
Topview's pricing page lists yearly plans from $216 (Basic) to $672 per seat (Team), with 4 to 18+ concurrent tasks across the plans. At Sume's Plus rate of $0.245 per second, $216 buys 881 seconds of avatar video, about 14.7 minutes, and $672 buys 2,742 seconds. That is a pay-as-you-go ceiling to compare a subscription against, not a like-for-like quote. Source: Topview pricing (read 2026-10-04).
What Topview prints
The page prices Basic at $216 a year, Plus at $432, Ultra at $599.90 and Team at $672 per seat. Those work out to $18, $36, $49.99 and $56 a month. I did not capture a per-video credit cost from the page, so the table converts dollars to Sume seconds rather than to Topview videos.
| Plan | Price per year | Per month | Sume Plus seconds | Sume Standard seconds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $216.00 | $18.00 | 881 s (14.7 min) | 1173 s (19.6 min) |
| Plus | $432.00 | $36.00 | 1763 s (29.4 min) | 2347 s (39.1 min) |
| Ultra | $599.90 | $49.99 | 2448 s (40.8 min) | 3260 s (54.3 min) |
| Team (per seat) | $672.00 | $56.00 | 2742 s (45.7 min) | 3652 s (60.9 min) |
How far the same money goes on Sume
Sume's avatar video is $0.184 per second on Standard, $0.245 on Plus and $0.55 on Max. A talking video runs 4 to 60 seconds, so $216 on Plus is about 14 full 60-second clips plus change (14 x $14.70 = $205.80). Creating each presenter is a flat $0.95.
When a subscription is the better deal
A yearly plan is prepaid for twelve months. If your volume is steady and the plan includes the features you use, the subscription's effective price per video can be lower. Pay-as-you-go wins when volume is uneven, since an idle month on Sume costs nothing and a prepaid month does not refund.
Concurrency is the other number. Topview lists 4 to 18+ concurrent tasks by plan. Sume runs 1 job at a time on Free with a queue of 5, 4 on Pro with 20 queued, 8 on Startup with 40 queued, and 20 on Scale with 100 queued, according to the generation admission docs. If you batch, see the limits by plan.
Per month and per seat
Basic at $216 a year is $18 a month, which is 73 seconds of Plus on Sume. Team is priced per seat, so three seats at $672 are $2,016 a year, or 8,228 seconds of Plus. A team where only one person generates avatar video may pay for seats it does not use, whereas Sume prices the clip seconds themselves.
A simple test
Work out your own clip length, multiply by the per-second rate from the price ladder, and divide the yearly price by the number of videos you honestly expect to make.
