TikTok Travel Ads: keep the lower-left corner clear of text
TikTok says travel cards slide over the video after 2 seconds, lower-left. Put the brand name in the video and check frames at 2 and 4 seconds.

TikTok's best practices for Travel Ads say not to place text or important content in the lower left corner, because the travel cards slide over the video 2 seconds after it starts. The page also says to feature the brand name in the video itself, since the cards cover basic ad text. Place burned-in captions away from that corner and check frames after the card appears.
Timing and text limits on the page
Card timing and text numbers are as the page states them.
| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Travel card appears | 2 seconds after the ad plays |
| Cards auto-slide | From the 4 second interval |
| Corner to avoid | Lower left |
| Brand name | Feature it in the video creative |
| Carousel image text | Typically no more than 10 words |
| Title | 40 characters; wraps after 20; two lines then ellipsis |
| Primary text | 20 characters |
Place the caption and burn it
Video captions has design.placement.anchor_ratio, the line centre as a fraction of frame height. The docs do not say which edge it counts from, so test a value and read the render. Authored cues carry the brand name as a line in the first two seconds, before any card covers the frame.

You cannot see the card in your own render, because TikTok adds it. Pull stills at 1.5, 2.5 and 4.5 seconds with video frames and keep the lower-left quadrant empty of faces, logos and price. If the brand line is in the upper half and clear at 1.5 seconds, it will not be hidden when the card slides in.
