TikTok's US Creator Rewards Program Terms, last updated July 20, 2026, require eligible videos to run at least 1 minute. The creator also needs at least 10,000 authentic followers and at least 100,000 authentic total video views in the last 30 days. A 45-second clip, however good, is outside the stated duration rule.

What the terms list

These are the eligibility points on the page, quoted in short.

What the terms do not say about AI

The terms, as fetched, do not explicitly address AI-generated content. That is not a green light: the Community Guidelines and the AI label rules still apply to the same video. See how TikTok treats unoriginal AI batches.

Making a 60-second cut

Most single AI clips are shorter than a minute; Sume's docs list seedance-2.5 at 4 to 30 seconds. To reach 60 seconds, assemble several clips.

  • Plan the story as 4 to 6 scenes so the join points are deliberate.
  • Use Timeline 1.0: it takes one audio spine plus ordered clips, accepts 1 to 1800 seconds, and defaults to 1080x1920 output.
  • Run the unbilled plan call first and check that duration_seconds is comfortably above 60, not exactly 60.
  • Use music you have the right to use; Sume's Music docs cover generating a track, and the terms list unauthorized music as a disqualifier.

Why aim above 60 seconds

The terms say at least 1 minute, so a cut that lands at 59.8 seconds after an encode is a risk you do not need. Aim for 65 to 75 seconds, then read the finished file's duration before you post. Sume's video inspect returns probe facts for a clip, which is a quick way to confirm length without downloading it into an editor.

Rewards eligibility is also about your account: followers, recent views and a linked payment account. A longer video does not change those.

What stays with you

Sume does not know your follower count, your 30-day views or whether your account is enrolled. Check eligibility in TikTok, and re-read the terms before you budget production around them.
