Suno Pro costs $8 a month ($6.40 billed annually) and includes 2,500 credits, 20 downloads a month and commercial rights, according to Suno's pricing page. Sume's Music Router charges a flat $0.125 per generation with no download quota, so 20 generations cost 20 x $0.125 = $2.50.

Where they differ

Suno is a subscription with a studio around it. Sume is an API priced per call. The break-even is arithmetic: at $0.125 a call, $8 buys 64 generations. Whether 64 API songs beat 20 Suno downloads depends on how many you keep, since a generation is not a download.

Sume's router has no stems, no studio and no duration field; it returns one audio artifact per job.

  • $8 / $0.125 = 64 generations.
  • $24 / $0.125 = 192 generations.
  • Rights terms differ; read each before commercial use.
