Dreamina's launch page says Seedance 2.5 rolls out for subscriber accounts belonging to people over 16, across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America. Its pricing page separately lists 12 participating countries, including the US, for the current offer. The two pages describe different things, so check your own country and plan before you buy.

Why the pages seem to disagree

The launch page describes where the model rolls out, and it names a separate image model, Seedream 5.0 Pro, as available in the US. The pricing page lists countries for a promotion. A country on one list and not the other is not a contradiction, but it is a reason not to assume access from a news headline.

Dreamina is a consumer app with accounts tied to a person. A person under 16 is outside what the launch page describes.

Where a developer account differs

Sume is an API. You create a key and call POST /v1/videos with model: "seedance-2.5". Whether a model is open to you is visible in the catalog: GET /v1/videos/models lists what the platform serves. Sume's docs do not describe a region gate in that catalog, but the docs are the place to confirm, and your own legal or compliance team should confirm use in your market.

  • Do not read the Dreamina list as a statement about any other product.
  • Do not infer Sume availability from Dreamina availability, or the reverse.
  • Check the age and region terms of the product you will actually use.

A short checklist

Before you commit: read the vendor page for your country, confirm the plan includes the model, and confirm who on your team will hold the account. For an API, add the catalog check and a test request at 480p.
