Gemini Omni Flash on Runway is 720p only; Sume sells 360p to 4K

Runway's Omni Flash model outputs 720p at 10 credits a second. Sume offers four resolutions of the same Google model. Which to use for drafts and finals?

Runway's changelog says Gemini Omni Flash (gemini_omni_flash) generates from text, a first-frame image or an existing video, with output at 720p and lengths of 3 to 10 seconds, billed at 10 credits a second (Runway changelog, read 2026-10-09). Google lists 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K for the model (Google Omni docs, read 2026-10-09), and Sume passes all four through.

How do the two routes differ?

Why does resolution matter for drafts?

A draft loop wants the cheapest rate that still shows the idea. Sume's 360p row is $0.0375 a second, so ten 5-second drafts cost $1.875, and the winner can be regenerated at 1080p for $0.9375. On a 720p-only route, every draft pays the 720p rate.

Is $0.10 versus $0.125 the whole story?

Not quite. Runway bills credits you buy at $0.01 each; Sume bills a workspace USD balance and reserves the provider list times 1.25 at submit, then bills the actual amount, as the video generation docs explain. If you need only 720p and already hold Runway credits, the $0.10 rate is lower. If you need 4K for a signage loop or 360p for fast drafts, only Sume's route has the rows.

How do you request 4K on Sume?

Send "resolution": "4K" with duration between 3 and 10. A 10-second 4K clip is $3.75. See the Video Router page for edit mode and references.
