Recraft V4.1 Pro costs $0.21 an image: is it on Sume?
Recraft lists V4.1 Pro at $0.21 and 12 seconds against $0.035 for standard V4.1. What that gap buys, and which Recraft id Sume's docs list.

Recraft prices V4.1 Pro at $0.21 per image and about 12 seconds, against $0.035 and 6.5 seconds for standard V4.1, and describes Pro as the higher-resolution, finer-detail option. Sume's Image API docs list one Recraft id, recraft/recraft-v4, so Pro is not something to assume you can call; read the catalog to see what your key lists.
Prices are from Recraft's V4.1 page, and the 2048x2048 note is from Recraft's V4.1 Flash announcement, both read 2026-10-03. Sume's catalog is from the Image API docs.
What the price gap is
The Flash announcement says that maximum output resolution is 2048x2048 when you use Recraft's Refine feature with V4.1 Pro. That is a statement about Recraft's own tooling; it does not say how Sume would map a request onto it.
| Variant | Price | Typical time | Positioning on the page |
|---|---|---|---|
| V4.1 | $0.035 | 6.5s | Standard |
| V4.1 Pro | $0.21 | 12s | Higher resolution, finer detail |
| V4.1 Vector Pro | $0.30 | 15s | Vector output, higher tier |
Check what Sume bills
The docs say endpoint pricing lines are the amount charged to your wallet, with Sume's margin applied. This script prints the line for the listed Recraft model so you can compare it with Recraft's own numbers.
import os
import requests
key = os.environ["SUME_API_KEY"]
url = "https://api.sume.com/v1/images/models/recraft/recraft-v4/endpoints"
resp = requests.get(url, headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {key}"}, timeout=30)
resp.raise_for_status()
body = resp.json()
body = body.get("data", body)
for endpoint in body["endpoints"]:
for line in endpoint["pricing"]:
print(endpoint["provider_slug"], line["billable"], line["unit"], line["cost_usd"])
Limits
Recraft's list prices are Recraft's, not Sume's: the docs describe a margin on top of the provider's list price for catalog models, so do not copy Recraft's dollar figures into a Sume budget. Whether Pro will be added is not something any page read for this post says.
