A price-increase announcement works as four short scenes in one Sume avatar video: a hook, the reason, what changes for the customer, and the next step. At 45 seconds in total it costs $8.28 on Standard, $11.02 on Plus and $24.75 on Max, and you read every spoken line before you submit.

The request shape is the video_inputs array from Sume's avatar video guide, read 2026-10-04. The prices in the sample script are placeholders; use your own, and have the person who owns the pricing change approve the wording first.

Why scenes beat one block of text

A pricing message is the kind customers listen to twice, so structure helps. A fixed duration per scene makes the length predictable and lets you change one scene without rewriting the rest. Total planned duration must still land between 4 and 60 seconds.

Cost by tier

Use Plus, the default, for something customers will quote back to you. Draft the wording at Standard first if you expect several rounds.

The request body

Each spoken scene uses voice.type: "text" with exactly one of script or input_text, plus a duration. Current execution supports one avatar per final video and expects scene backgrounds to resolve to one shared scene, so the same background prompt repeats in every scene. The body below has the first two scenes; add the other two in the same shape.

Say it plainly and say it is AI

Put the new number in the second scene and say it once, slowly. Do not bury it after a long preamble. Say in the clip, in the caption or in the message around it that the presenter is AI-generated. The API does not add that label for you, so put it in the script or the page the video sits on.
