Animate podcast cover art into a season-launch clip on Sume

To announce a new podcast season with motion, send your cover art to Sume's Video Router as the first frame of a 6-second Wan 3.0 clip. At 720p that is 6 seconds x $0.125 = $0.75, and the cover stays recognisable because the model continues from your image instead of drawing a new one. Then add the intro music in a Timeline render so the clip has sound.

A still cover does not get autoplay attention in a feed; six seconds of slow movement does, and it works for a trailer, an Instagram reel and a video preview on a podcast host that accepts video.

What should the prompt move?

Move the world, not the logo. Ask for a slow push-in, drifting light or shifting background, and say "keep the title text and logo unchanged". Video models can still warp lettering, so check the last frame; if the title bends, shorten the clip or try again at the same price.

What is the request?

Wan 3.0 takes the start frame through image_url, accepts 2 to 30 seconds and offers 480p, 720p and 1080p. The image must be a public HTTPS URL that Sume can fetch (Media inputs). Use 1:1 for a feed, or 9:16 for reels and stories.

What does it cost by resolution?

Wan 3.0 lists $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per second by tier, and the Video Router bills list x 1.25 (Video Router docs). Draft at 480p, then render the final at 720p.

How do I add the theme music?

Poll GET /v1/jobs/{id}/status until the clip is completed and take the video URL from the result (Jobs and results). In a Timeline render, set the spine to audio.mode: "silence" for 6 seconds, put the clip in one video slot and your theme in soundtrack with fade_out_seconds. Timeline is $0.10 per output minute, rounded up, so the finished launch clip is about $0.85.
