Posting one 30-second Wan 3.0 clip every day for 30 days costs $56.25 at 480p, $112.50 at 720p and $225.00 at 1080p through Sume, which is 900 seconds of video. Add a 480p test before each 1080p post and the 1080p month becomes $281.25.

What the numbers assume

  • One generation per day. A second try on a bad take adds the full price again; a re-run is a new job at full price.
  • No voice, music or captions. Those are separate jobs with their own prices.
  • Each clip is a single 30-second take; Alibaba's model page lists 30 fps MP4 output up to 30 seconds (read 2026-10-08).

Funding it

Only the next day's reserve has to be in the balance, but a month's worth avoids a missed post. Sume rejects a submit that the balance cannot cover with 402 insufficient_credits, so a job that runs from a schedule should alert on that code.

Use a dated Idempotency-Key such as daily-2026-10-09: if a scheduler fires twice, the second call returns the first job instead of charging again.

When to move up a resolution

Moving from 720p to 1080p doubles the monthly bill, from $112.50 to $225.00. Start at 720p, and use 1080p only for the days that matter, such as launches. Mixing 25 days at 720p with 5 days at 1080p costs $131.25.

A weekly view

Seven clips a week is a convenient unit for budgeting:
