A daily short is a subscription you pay for in small pieces. This post prices one assumed recipe: a 10 second Wan 3.0 clip at 720p, captions, and one music generation, every day for 30 days. The unit prices are Sume's: Wan 3.0 720p at $0.125 per second (fal list $0.10 times 1.25, read 2026-10-05), captions at $0.20 per job for videos up to 60 seconds, and music at $0.125 per generation.

The recipe is an assumption, not a recommendation. Sume's catalog formula is list x 1.25 rounded up to the next cent (ceil usd cents), so a billed job can land a cent above these unrounded figures; read usage.cost for the real amount.

Ways to move the number

Dropping the clip to 480p saves $0.625 a day. Skipping the music bed, or reusing one bed across the week, saves up to $3.75 a month. The clip is 79 percent of the daily cost, so resolution and duration are the knobs worth turning first.

At $1.575 a day, a $50 wallet top-up covers about 31 days, and a $100 top-up about 63. Top-ups are $10 to $1,000 per checkout.

Prices are reserved when the job is submitted and the final amount is recorded in usage.cost, so the monthly total is the sum of recorded costs, not of estimates.

  • Fix the recipe, then multiply by days.
  • Trim duration before you lower quality.
  • Check balance weekly rather than monthly.
