Five 30-second videos a week is 20 a month, and that costs $75.00 on Wan 3.0 at 720p, $37.50 at 480p and $150.00 at 1080p on Sume. Add a quarter for retakes and the 720p figure is $93.75.

Monthly table

Sume bills the provider list rate multiplied by 1.25 on every video model (Video Router). The figures here come from the price estimators in Sume's repository, run on 2026-10-07, and are rounded to the cent. The live numbers for your workspace are in the catalog response and on the API pricing page.

This page counts a month as four weeks.

Plans and the wallet

Video generation starts on the paid plans: the Free plan is for image generation, and Pro, at $40 a month, adds video, API, CLI and MCP access (plans). Generation is billed at each model's published USD rate from one balance (pricing page).

The plan fee and the generation spend are separate lines in your thinking, even if the dashboard shows one balance. This page prices the generation only.

  • Pro runs 4 jobs at once, which is plenty for 5 videos a week.
  • A weekly batch of 5 at 720p holds at most $15.00 at a time in flight on Pro.
  • Watch GET /v1/usage weekly.

Keeping it steady

Sume reserves the estimated amount when it accepts a job, captures it on success, and refunds the reservation if the job fails or is cancelled before capture (Usage, Generation admission). So the balance you need on hand at submit time is the price of everything in flight, not only the final total.

Set a cap before you start: from MCP, a paid tool takes dry_run=true and max_spend_usd (MCP tools and gates). Send a distinct Idempotency-Key per job so a retry replays the original job instead of charging again.
