Higgsfield vs Kling AI: studio or model maker?
Kling makes the Kling models and sells its own apps and API. Higgsfield is a multi-model studio that also runs Kling 3.0. Access and billing compared.
Higgsfield and Kling AI are different kinds of company. Kling is the model maker: it sells the Kling models through its own app on credit plans and through a developer API billed per second. Higgsfield is a creative suite that runs many labs' models, Kling 3.0 among them, in its apps and through its own API. If Kling 3.0 is the model you want, the choice is where to run it.

Does Higgsfield use Kling?
Yes. Higgsfield's site describes its AI Video product as multi-model generation across Kling, Wan, Seedance and more, with a Kling 3.0 page (llms.txt). Its API docs list Kling 3.0 workflows such as POST /kling-video/v3.0/pro/text-to-video and POST /kling-video/v3.0/4k/image-to-video (Kling 3.0 API). Its FAQ adds that model availability depends on your account (FAQ).
How much does Kling 3.0 cost on each?
On Kling's own API, Kling 3.0 is billed per second in Units. Without native audio it is 0.6 Units ($0.084) a second at 720P, 0.8 Units ($0.112) at 1080P and 3.0 Units ($0.42) at 4K; with audio and no voice control it is 0.9 and 1.2 Units at 720P and 1080P (video pricing). Kling's llms.txt says the platform also offers prepaid resource packages (llms.txt).
Higgsfield's API site listed Kling 3.0 “from 0.0462 / s” under a “45 % OFF” label, with no currency shown (Higgsfield API). Its billing page says requests are charged in credits and that an estimate endpoint returns the credits and USD for a request before you send it (billing). Use that estimate rather than the promo line.
How do the apps charge?
Kling's app plans run from a free Basic tier to Ultra with 26,000 credits a month. Credits are deducted per generation and vary by model, resolution, duration and audio; failed generations use none, and unused monthly credits do not roll over (llms.txt). Higgsfield's team plan lists shared credits (llms.txt), but its pricing page did not render as text on 2026-09-28, so no plan numbers are given here.
Can I get Kling 3.0 through another API?
Yes. Multi-model APIs serve it too. On Sume it is kling-3 on POST /v1/videos, billed at the provider's list price × 1.25 (Video generation): $0.14 a second silent or $0.21 with audio, plus a 5.5% agent fee by default (API pricing). - Pick a multi-model API if Kling 3.0 is one of several models your code calls.
