Cheapest 12-second AI video at 720p-class on Sume, five models ranked
For a 12-second clip at about 720p, MiniMax H3 at 768p is cheapest on Sume at $0.90, then H3 Max $1.20, Wan 3.0 $1.50, Seedance 2.0 $4.54, Seedance 2.5 $6.93.

The cheapest 12-second clip at roughly 720p on Sume is MiniMax H3 at 768p: 12 x $0.075 = $0.90. MiniMax H3 Max at 768p is $1.20, Wan 3.0 at 720p is $1.50, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $4.536 and Seedance 2.5 at 720p is $6.9336. Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 is not in the ranking because it only accepts 3 to 10 seconds.
Why 12 seconds is a useful test length
Twelve seconds excludes some models and includes others. Omni Flash 1.1 stops at 10 seconds. MiniMax H3 and H3 Max start at 5 and stop at 15, so 12 is valid. Seedance 2.0 stops at 15. Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 are valid anywhere in their longer ranges. A length that every contender accepts makes the comparison clean: each price is simply duration times the per-second rate.
| Model | Tier | Per second | 12 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| MiniMax H3 (5-15 s) | 768p | $0.075 | 12 x $0.075 = $0.90 |
| MiniMax H3 Max (5-15 s) | 768p | $0.10 | 12 x $0.10 = $1.20 |
| Wan 3.0 (2-30 s) | 720p | $0.125 | 12 x $0.125 = $1.50 |
| Seedance 2.0 (4-15 s) | 720p | $0.378 | 12 x $0.378 = $4.536 |
| Seedance 2.5 (4-30 s) | 720p | $0.5778 | 12 x $0.5778 = $6.9336 |
Reading the ranking
Note that 768p is not 720p. MiniMax H3 offers 480p and 768p, so the 768p row is the nearest tier, a slightly taller picture than the 720p rows. If you need exactly 720p, the cheapest is Wan 3.0 at $1.50.
The gap between the cheapest and the most expensive row is 7.7 times ($6.9336 divided by $0.90). That ratio is why many teams draft on one model and finish on another, though a clip made on one model is not a preview of how another model will move.
- Prices are linear inside each model's valid duration range.
- Defaults only: no extras such as added references are priced here.
- The catalog is the source of truth; rates can change.
If you need more than one take
Price per take is only part of the cost of a finished clip. If you expect to keep one take in three, multiply the table by three: the cheapest row becomes 3 x $0.90 = $2.70 per kept clip, and Seedance 2.5 becomes 3 x $6.9336 = $20.80. The ranking does not change, but the gap in dollars grows with the number of takes.
A budget of $10 for one kept 12-second clip at one-in-three odds therefore rules in H3 ($2.70), H3 Max ($3.60) and Wan 3.0 ($4.50), and Seedance 2.0 ($13.61) is out. Those odds are an assumption you set from your own results; the price list cannot predict them.
