Check a Sume video price yourself: fal list x 1.25, three examples

How to verify a Sume video price from the vendor page: take the fal rate, multiply by 1.25. Worked for Wan 3.0, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 and Seedance 2.5.

Sume's video prices are provider list x 1.25. The Video Router docs say so for each model, so you can recompute a price from the vendor page and compare it with the amount reserved at submit. Take fal's per-second or per-token rate, multiply by the output, then by 1.25.

What does the check look like?

Sume price recomputed from fal list (fal pages read 2026-10-09)
Clipfal listx 1.25Sume price
Wan 3.0, 10 s, 720p10 x $0.10 = $1.00$1.25$1.25
Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, 8 s, 1080p8 x $0.15 = $1.20$1.50$1.50
Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 720p, 16:9108,000 tokens x $0.0214/1k = $2.3112$2.889$2.889

Why would my number differ by a fraction of a cent?

Sume rounds each quote up to the next micro-dollar. Seedance is the one to watch: fal's page shows the 5-second 720p example as about $2.31, while the unrounded product is $2.3112.

What is the 25% for, and what is it not?

  • It is one fixed multiplier across the catalog, not a per-model guess; the docs state it for the video rows and the Images docs say endpoint prices already include it.
  • It is not hidden in usage.cost: the video docs say usage.cost is the billable amount, after the margin.
  • It is applied to the vendor's list rate, so a vendor promotion is not passed through unless the Sume catalog row is updated to the promotional rate.

How do I confirm before I spend?

Run one small job of the shape you plan to use and compare the amount charged with your hand number. If the vendor page has changed since 2026-10-09, trust the vendor page for list and the docs for the multiplier.

What if my hand number and the quote disagree?

First check the resolution and the duration you actually sent; a default of 720p and 8 seconds on the Video Router Auto row changes the answer. Then check which fal page you used, since each model has its own rates.

If those match and the numbers still differ by more than rounding, the vendor may have changed its list since 2026-10-09. The reserve at submit is the amount Sume computed from its catalog row, which the Video generation docs describe as provider list x 1.25.
