Amazon Brand Story card specs: 362x453 image, 166x182 ASIN tile
Brand Story's media asset card needs 362x453 or larger and the four-ASIN card 166x182. Which Sume canvases clear its 16-pixel and pixel-floor rules.

Two small Brand Story cards have low minimums: BrandStoryMediaAssetModule needs an image of at least 362 x 453 and BrandStoryFourAsinModule needs each product image at 166 x 182. A GPT-model custom size can't be that small, so generate 832x1040 for the media card and 1024x1024 for the ASIN tiles, then check the cropping in Seller Central.
Minimums are from Amazon's Brand Story modules page, read 2026-10-01; size rules from Sume's Image API docs.
What are the two cards' limits?
Both are cards in the "From the Brand" area. The media card features a single image; the four-ASIN card shows up to four product ASINs with images, for cross-selling.
| Module | Image field | Minimum | Text limits |
|---|---|---|---|
BrandStoryMediaAssetModule | image | 362w x 453h | Title max 30 chars; description max 3 rows, 135 chars |
BrandStoryFourAsinModule | productImage | 166w x 182h | Card title max 30 chars |
Which Sume sizes are valid for them?
Custom sizes need both edges as multiples of 16 and 655,360 to 8,294,400 pixels. The nearest on-grid sizes to the Amazon minimums, 368x464 and 176x192, have 170,752 and 33,792 pixels, so both are refused. Choose a canvas above the floor with a similar shape instead.
| Card | Amazon minimum | Sume canvas | Pixels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Media asset | 362 x 453 (about 4:5) | 832 x 1040 (4:5) | 865,280 |
| Four-ASIN tile | 166 x 182 | 1024 x 1024 (1:1) | 1,048,576 |
Do I need a different ratio for the ASIN tile?
166 x 182 is slightly taller than square. The page lists a minimum and does not state a crop rule, so a square source that is far larger than the minimum clears the stated limit; confirm the crop on a real card. 1:1 and 4:5 are both in the Image API's normalized ratio list if you prefer aspect_ratio with a resolution tier instead of exact pixels.

}'How many do I make for four ASINs?
One product image per ASIN, four ASINs, so four separate generations or four real product photos. n returns several takes of the same prompt and is capped per model (the docs say up to 10 at most; the catalog example shows 1 to 4), so it is for choosing between takes, not for covering four products. For many SKUs, see bulk image generation. Generated images are not a stand-in for a clean product photo of the exact item, so use a photo for any ASIN where the likeness has to be exact.
