A six-slide PremiumImageCarouselModule needs twelve images: a desktop image of at least 1464 by 600 and a mobile image of at least 600 by 450 for each slide. Plan the batch as a ledger of twelve rows, one request per image, so none goes missing. Sizes follow the rules in the full background guide.

Amazon's numbers are from its A+ Premium modules page; Sume facts are from the image generation and bulk runs docs, read 2026-10-01.

What does the carousel require?

Amazon says 2 to 6 slides in carouselCards, each with a unique position from 1 to 6, optional title (max 50 characters), optional button text (max 12) tied to an ASIN, and a description of up to 200 characters. The module headline is optional, max 80 characters.

Twelve-image plan for six slides, Amazon minimums and Sume sizes, read 2026-10-01.

How many requests does that take?

One per image is simplest: twelve requests, each with a prompt for that slide. n sets how many images a request returns, and the example descriptor in the docs shows a range of 1 to 4, so check the model's own limits if you want several candidates per slide.

When do I use bulk runs?

If the twelve images come from a saved Format, the docs say you can queue up to 100 Format runs with a concurrency window. Each queued item is an ordinary Format run, so cost and behavior match a single run. See Format bulk runs: 100 renders for the call shape.
