Amazon Brand Story hero image size: 1464x625 desktop, 463x625 mobile
Brand Story's image-with-logo card needs a desktop image of at least 1464x625 and a mobile image of 463x625. Sizes that pass Sume's 16-pixel rule.

Amazon's BrandStoryImageWithLogoModule requires a desktop image of at least 1464 x 625 pixels and a mobile image of at least 463 x 625. Generate the desktop hero at 1472x640 and the mobile one at 768x1024 through Sume's custom image_size: both edges are multiples of 16 and both stay above the 655,360-pixel floor.
Limits are from Amazon's Brand Story modules page, read 2026-10-01; the size rules are from Sume's Image API docs.
What does the module ask for?
Brand Story appears on the product page under "From the Brand", separate from product-level A+ Content. In this card the title and description are overlaid on the hero image.
| Field | Constraint on the page |
|---|---|
desktopImage | Required, min 1464w x 625h px |
mobileImage | Required, min 463w x 625h px |
title | Optional, max 30 chars, overlaid |
description | Max 3 rows, total at most 135 chars |
Which sizes pass Sume's custom size rules?
For GPT custom sizes the docs require both edges to be multiples of 16, a maximum edge of 3840, an aspect ratio of at most 3:1, and 655,360 to 8,294,400 pixels. Neither Amazon minimum is on that grid, and the mobile minimum (463 x 625 is 289,375 pixels) is also under the floor, so pick the nearest valid canvas.
| Slot | Amazon minimum | Sume canvas | Pixels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desktop | 1464 x 625 | 1472 x 640 | 942,080 |
| Mobile | 463 x 625 | 768 x 1024 | 786,432 |
| Mobile at 480 x 640 | 463 x 625 | Refused: too few pixels | 307,200 |
Why not generate the mobile crop at 480x640?
480x640 has 307,200 pixels, under the 655,360 floor. Generate 768x1024 (3:4) instead; it exceeds both Amazon minimums. If you need an exact pixel size afterwards, resize in your own pipeline: the Image API docs describe exact pixels as a post-step for some models, not something the request guarantees.

"model": "openai/gpt-image-2.5",
"prompt": "Brand hero scene, empty calm area on the left for overlaid text",
"image_size": "768x1024"
}'Where does the logo go?
The module name says logo, but the fields listed on the page are the two images and the overlaid text; the page does not list a separate logo image field for this card. Do not paint a logo into a generated picture and expect it to be crisp or correct. Leave room and check the module spec before you build the payload. Sibling cards have their own sizes: see the media asset and four-ASIN cards.
