Ad hook test matrix: 4 hooks x 2 ratios on Omni Flash, priced
Four ad hooks in 16:9 and 9:16 as 5-second Omni Flash drafts cost $1.50 at 360p on Sume; re-rendering two winners at 1080p adds $1.875. The full matrix.

Eight draft clips, four hooks in two aspect ratios, cost $1.50 at 360p for 5 seconds each. Re-rendering the two winners at 1080p adds $1.875, for $3.375 to a tested pair.
A 16:9 and a 9:16 version are separate jobs on Omni; the model offers only those two ratios and does not reframe one into the other.
The matrix
| Hook | 16:9 draft | 9:16 draft | Both |
|---|---|---|---|
| A: problem first | $0.1875 | $0.1875 | $0.375 |
| B: price first | $0.1875 | $0.1875 | $0.375 |
| C: demo first | $0.1875 | $0.1875 | $0.375 |
| D: testimonial style | $0.1875 | $0.1875 | $0.375 |
Finals
Two winners at 1080p, 5 seconds: $0.9375 each. If the same two also need the second ratio, add $1.875.
Running it
- Name each job's Idempotency-Key from hook and ratio, e.g.
hook-a-916, so you can retry safely. - Eight submits fit in the accepted-job capacity of Pro (24) and up, but not of Free (6): on Free, send in waves of up to six and expect
429 queue_fullon the seventh. Queued jobs are normal, not a failure; retry a rejected submit with the same Idempotency-Key once a job finishes. - Judge sound at the draft stage, since the audio is part of every hook.
Why the draft pass is cheap
At 360p a 5-second Omni Flash clip is $0.1875; at 1080p the same clip is $0.9375, five times as much. Drafting all eight cells at 360p costs $1.50, while drafting all eight at 1080p would cost $7.50. The draft pass exists to pick a winner, so spend the 1080p money only on the cells you will ship.
Omni Flash accepts 3 to 10 seconds, so 5 seconds fits with room to lengthen a winner. 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K are the resolutions in the catalog.
| Pass | Per clip | Eight clips |
|---|---|---|
| 360p draft | $0.1875 | $1.50 |
| 1080p final | $0.9375 | $7.50 |
