What the Sume Free $4 credit buys: Nano Banana 2 images by size
The one-time $4 buys 40 Nano Banana 2 images at 1K, 26 at 2K or 20 at 4K on Sume. The reduced $1 tier buys 10, 6 or 5.

The Free plan's one-time $4 buys 40 Nano Banana 2 images at 1K, 26 at 2K or 20 at 4K, and a reduced $1 grant buys 10, 6 or 5. Free covers image generation only, so the credit cannot be spent on video. Included usage figures come from Sume's plan catalog; the Billing and subscription page in the dashboard shows what is left on your workspace.
Count by size
On Sume, Nano Banana 2 costs $0.10 at 1K, $0.15 at 2K and $0.20 at 4K. The counts below round down to whole images.
| Size | Price per image | With $4 | With the $1 reduced grant |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1K | $0.10 | 40 | 10 |
| 2K | $0.15 | 26 | 6 |
| 4K | $0.20 | 20 | 5 |
Google's own price, for comparison
Google's page lists Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, which is Nano Banana 2, at $0.067 for 1K, $0.101 for 2K and $0.151 for 4K (read 2026-10-06 on Google's pricing page). Sume's per-image prices above are higher than those list prices. What you get for the difference is one balance that also covers other models and the Agent, with no separate Google billing set-up.
If you only ever need Nano Banana 2 at volume and have a Google account, direct is cheaper per image. If you want one wallet across providers, Sume is the simpler path.
Making the credit last
Generate at 1K while you test prompts and move to 2K or 4K only for the final pick. A 1K test run of 10 images costs $1.00, a quarter of the grant. The grant is lifetime and once per workspace, so it does not return if you cancel a paid plan later.
The counts are upper bounds. A failed job releases its reserve, but a job that completes is billed even if you do not like the picture, so plan a small margin for retries. Also note that Free runs one job at a time with 5 queued, so a batch of 20 images is submitted in pieces. Prices are from Sume's catalog and the Google figures from Google's page, both read 2026-10-06, and either can change.
