A first week is a test with a cap. Say the cap is $60 and the plan is two posts a day. Each post is an 8 second Wan 3.0 clip at 720p plus a captions job, and the day shares one music generation. Wan 3.0 720p on Sume is $0.125 per second (fal list $0.10 times 1.25, read 2026-10-05). Captions are $0.20 per job for videos up to 60 seconds and music is $0.125 per generation.

The plan is an assumption. The prices are Sume's.

Headroom

The week costs $17.675, which leaves $42.325 of the $60 for reruns. That is about 42 extra clips, or 35 extra captioned posts. If you expect to discard one clip in four, the plan still fits.

To stretch the budget, draft at 480p ($0.0625 per second, so $0.50 per 8 second clip) and rerender approved clips at 720p. If every clip were first drafted at 480p and then rendered at 720p, the week's clip cost would be $21.00 instead of $14.00, so drafting only pays when most drafts are rejected.

Top-ups are $10 to $1,000 per checkout, so a $60 cap is a single checkout. The billing and credits docs describe how the balance is read.

  • Set the cap before the plan.
  • Draft cheap only when you expect to reject most drafts.
  • Review actual usage.cost at the end of day two and adjust.
