Wan 3.0 is priced per second of output video, at a rate set by resolution. fal's Wan 3 page lists $0.05 a second at 480p, $0.10 at 720p and $0.20 at 1080p. On Sume the model is wan-3.0, and a job is billed at that list price × 1.25: $0.0625 at 480p, $0.125 at 720p, $0.25 at 1080p per second.

The provider list comes from fal's Wan 3 page, read 2026-09-29; the × 1.25 rule is in the Video generation docs, and the amounts below are computed from Sume's pricing code.

What does one second of Wan 3.0 cost?

Length and resolution are the only inputs to the price; the prompt, the aspect ratio and the number of references do not change it.

Per-second rates: fal's Wan 3 page and the Video generation docs, read 2026-09-29.
Resolutionfal list priceSume billed, list × 1.25
480p$0.05 / s$0.0625 / s
720p$0.10 / s$0.125 / s
1080p$0.20 / s$0.25 / s

How much does a whole clip cost?

Sume reserves the amount when you submit, rounded up to the cent, plus a 5.5% agent fee by default. A Wan 3.0 clip runs from 2 to 30 seconds.

Reserved amounts computed from Sume's pricing code, before the agent fee, read 2026-09-29.
Resolution2 s5 s10 s30 s
480p$0.13$0.32$0.63$1.88
720p$0.25$0.63$1.25$3.75
1080p$0.50$1.25$2.50$7.50

Does audio change the price?

Not in current code. Wan 3.0 makes its audio in the same pass, and the estimate for a clip is the same whether generate_audio is on or off, so you only save by choosing a shorter clip or a lower resolution.

What if I don't send a resolution?

Sume prices the request at 1080p, the highest of the three rates, and fal's page names 1080p as the default. Send resolution on every Wan 3.0 request so the reserve matches what you meant to spend.

Where do I confirm the current rate?

The list price is a vendor number that can change. Check pricing_skus on GET /v1/videos/models and the API pricing page before you budget a batch.
