Wan 3.0 1080p: how to request full HD from the API

Yes: Wan 3.0 makes 1080p video. Call POST /v1/videos with model: "wan-3.0" and resolution: "1080p"; the clip can be 2 to 30 seconds long and carry an audio track from the same pass. 480p and 720p are the other two settings.

Both vendor pages list the same three resolutions, fal's Wan 3 page and Alibaba Cloud's Wan3.0 guide, which marks 1080p as its default; both were read 2026-09-29. The request fields come from Sume's Video generation docs.

How do I ask for 1080p?

Set resolution and, optionally, aspect_ratio. Wan 3.0 accepts 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16.

What does a 1080p Wan 3.0 clip cost?

Sume reserves list price × 1.25 on submit. In current pricing code a 10-second clip is $2.50 at 1080p and $1.25 at 720p, before the agent fee. Wan 3.0 pricing per second has the whole table.

What happens if I leave resolution out?

The reserve is computed at 1080p, the top rate, so an omitted resolution can cost more than you planned. Set it explicitly whenever the price matters.

Is 1080p the largest size I can get?
