How much balance does a full Sume queue hold? By plan

A full Pro queue of 24 Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p holds $208 of wallet balance; Scale's 120 holds $1,040. Reserve by plan.

Sume reserves a paid job's estimated price when it accepts the job, captures it on success and refunds it on failure. A job waiting in the queue has already reserved its price, so a full queue holds balance even though nothing has been generated yet. A job whose reserve cannot be held fails with 402 insufficient_credits, and a full queue returns 429 queue_full.

Each plan accepts a fixed number of jobs: running plus queued. Generation admission lists them as 6 on Free, 24 on Pro, 48 on Startup and 120 on Scale.

What does a full queue hold?

Multiply the accepted capacity by the job price. The table uses three jobs from different price bands. Prices are Sume billed rates read on 2026-10-03.

What does it mean for a top-up?

For a Pro team submitting 24 Seedance 2.5 clips, a wallet below $208 would reject some of them with 402s, even if the total you actually keep would be lower. Size the wallet for accepted capacity, not for the number of jobs running at once (4 on Pro).

The held amount comes back as jobs finish: the captured price replaces the reserve, and failures are refunded in full. So the peak hold is a transient figure, not a spend.

How can you avoid tying up funds?

Submit in waves. A Pro team that wants 100 Wan 3.0 clips can send 24, wait, and send the next 24. That holds $30 at a time for 10-second 720p clips; sending all 100 in one go would be refused past the 24th job with 429 queue_full. Waves also leave room for a cap or prompt fix after the first results.
