Veo 3.1 now comes in three price tiers on Google's pricing page, and a buyer comparing 1080p video usually wants one number: the cost of a typical clip. Eight seconds is a convenient length, so this post does the multiplication and then lines it up against the 1080p rows that Sume can actually run.

Google lists Veo 3.1 Lite at $0.08 per second at 1080p, Fast at $0.12 and Standard at $0.40, all with audio (read 2026-10-05). Multiply by 8: $0.64, $0.96 and $3.20.

Sume's 1080p rows for 8 seconds
