TikTok Shop's campaign FAQ says application review takes 5 to 14 business days. To have an answer by Friday, November 27, 2026 (the Black Friday example used here), the worst-case application date is Monday, November 9. Apply a week earlier if you want room to react to a rejection.

Date math from the stated range

The dates below count weekdays only, skip no holidays, and treat the application day as day 0. The FAQ does not say how it counts business days, so add margin.

Other timings on the same page

  • Where to apply: Seller Center > Marketing > Campaigns.
  • Campaign price changes may need up to 5 business days of review.
  • To enroll you need a Shop Performance Score of 3.5 or higher, an Account Health Rating over 150, on-time delivery of 80% or more and seller-fault cancellation of 5.0% or lower, both over the prior 30 days.

Plan the clip batch around the application

Today is Monday, October 5, 2026, so a Nov 2 application is four weeks away. Use that window for the parts that do not depend on approval: lock the product list, draft the scripts, and decide the disclosure plan.

When you do render, bulk runs take up to 100 Format runs in one queue. A queue runs at most concurrency children at a time (1 to 16), and each item can carry its own generation_spend_cap_usd. Because review can take up to 14 business days, render after the product list is final, since a redo costs more than a wait.

Price edits are a separate delay. If a clip burns in a campaign price, a price change that needs up to 5 more business days of review means the clip could go stale. Keep prices out of the video, or keep them in a short overlay that you can re-burn.

A backward schedule

Work backward from the live date instead of forward from today. For a Nov 27 start with a 14-business-day review, the application goes in by Nov 9. Clip drafts should be done before that, so the application itself is not waiting on creative. If your first application is declined, the same range applies again, so a second try only fits if the first went in much earlier.

Keep a buffer of one week and treat the buffered date as the real deadline. The FAQ range is the only timing it gives.

Caveat

The FAQ page gives no calendar dates, and it does not say whether holidays count. Treat the table as a planning aid, not a promise.
