10 talking-presenter posts a month: Avatar Video tiers vs Fabric
Ten 45-second talking posts cost $82.80 on Avatar Video standard, $110.25 on plus, $247.50 on max, or $45 to $84.38 with Fabric. Per-second rates and math.
Ten 45-second talking-presenter posts a month cost $82.80 on Avatar Video standard, $110.25 on plus and $247.50 on max, or $45.00 to $84.38 with a Fabric talking clip. The tier changes the bill by more than five times, so choose it on purpose.
Avatar Video bills per second at public tier rates, with a slightly higher rate when a product is in the shot. Fabric is billed per second at 480p or 720p from a posed still plus audio. Figures are Sume billable rates, read 2026-10-03; 45 seconds is our planning length.
The rates
The charged Avatar Video rates are $0.184 (standard), $0.245 (plus) and $0.55 (max) per second without a product, and $0.194, $0.258 and $0.58 with one. Omitting quality runs the plus path, so the default is the middle row. Fabric is the fal list price of $0.08 per second at 480p and $0.15 at 720p, times 1.25, which is $0.10 and $0.1875 per second.
The table below multiplies by 45 seconds and 10 posts.
| Route | Per second | Per second with product | 10 posts | 10 posts with product |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Avatar Video standard | $0.184 | $0.194 | $82.80 | $87.30 |
| Avatar Video plus | $0.245 | $0.258 | $110.25 | $116.10 |
| Avatar Video max | $0.550 | $0.580 | $247.50 | $261.00 |
| Fabric talking clip 480p | $0.10 | n/a | $45.00 | n/a |
| Fabric talking clip 720p | $0.1875 | n/a | $84.38 | n/a |
Per post
For comparison with other post types, the per-post line is the one to carry into a calendar. A plus-tier talking post without a product is $11.03 and a Fabric 720p one is $8.44.
Add finishing if you want captions. Inline captions on an Avatar Video are an add-on and do not create a separate caption job, while a standalone caption job on any other clip is $0.20.
| Route | Per post |
|---|---|
| Avatar Video standard | $8.28 |
| Avatar Video plus | $11.03 |
| Avatar Video max | $24.75 |
| Fabric talking clip 480p | $4.50 |
| Fabric talking clip 720p | $8.44 |
Fabric versus Avatar Video
Fabric needs a posed still and an audio clip that you already have, while Avatar Video takes a script and a ready avatar. The Sume model docs say every on-camera speaking shot is Fabric with an accepted still plus TTS. The avatar route is the one that uses a stored avatar handle. Pick Fabric when the face is a generated still and Avatar Video when you have a created avatar.
Create-avatar is a one-time $0.95. Across ten posts that is $0.095 each, which is small next to the video.
What Sume does and does not do
Sume renders the clip and prices per second at submit. It does not choose a quality tier for you; the default is plus. Confirm the live rates in the catalog.
Rerun the arithmetic
The same line items as a short script, so you can change a quantity and see the total. It is plain arithmetic on the rates in this post; it does not call the Sume API.
