Sume has four billing units. Flat jobs include trim $0.02, captions $0.20 and music $0.125. Seconds cover avatar video, Fabric, H3 Max lip-sync, Kling Motion Control and video upscale. Minutes cover speech transcription and timeline renders. Text to speech is the only per-1,000-characters product, at $0.0475.

Per job

A flat price is the easiest to budget because the input size does not matter, within limits.

Per second, minute and character

Several per-second products are billed per whole second, rounded up, and transcripts and timeline renders are billed per rounded-up minute. The Models overview and the pricing page give the details.

The ones without a single rate

Image 1.0, Video 1.0 and the routers are metered per job with a band. The catalog estimate for Image 1.0 is $0.2225 and for Video 1.0 $2.3112, with a Video Router estimate of $0.50. Use the live GET /v1/catalog response for the model you pick instead of a static figure.

When comparing with another vendor's page, convert to the same unit first. A per-second price times your clip length gives a per-clip price, and a per-clip price divided by length gives per-second.

A worked comparison

Take a 30 second vertical ad. Using only published unit rates, voice of 450 characters costs $0.021375, a 30 second plus avatar video costs $7.35, one timeline minute costs $0.10, a caption job costs $0.20 and a music bed $0.125. The sum is $7.796. The avatar second dominates the bill; everything else is under a dollar together.

This is the usual shape. Per-second video-like products set the total, per-job tools add cents, and TTS is rounding error until the script is long.

  • Check the catalog for any product that shows a band.
  • Never mix per-minute and per-second figures without converting.
  • Inputs can have windows that matter more than rate.
